The previous Dutch owner also had this car maintained by the Van Dijks, so they know our 280SL inside out. The way I use my car, however, was quite new to them: many successive years of 15000 to 20000 kilometres at home as well as abroad, to my clients, business relations and my beloved Italy and the Alps. This, as they put it, not only improved their understanding of certain technical aspects but also taught them what areas to focus their attention on, because hardly anybody use their Pagode that intensively. But then, driving the 280SL is too much fun to leave it in the garage”.
